From the early days of black and white TV tube sets to flat screen plasma and LCD high-definition TVs, television technology has constantly evolved and changed over the years.

And just when you thought you’ve seen it all – here comes the newest exciting TV innovation – 3D TV! 

Starting this year, major television manufacturers like Samsung, Sony and others are introducing and selling 3D TVs worldwide, with base prices expected to start around $2,500. According to Samsung, the first company to bring 3D to market, they expect 3D TV sets to account for around 10 percent of all television sales over the next year and for the demand to skyrocket going forward once people have seen the new 3D TVs for themselves.
